THE CHALLENGE

As a man I was never quite satisfied with the shaving creams and moisturisers that you see on the market these days, some of which I found to be quite harsh on my skin, just not good enough…. There had to be a more natural, gentle but effective and healing way to deal with skincare for men. A simpler more natural way! I approached my partner, Michele Masterson, who is an expert in natural skincare and has developed her own line of 100% natural botanical products for women, would she develop a range for guys too? After months of researching she came up with a range of 100% natural, botanical skincare products for men.

From there HarveyJ Skincare was born. Based in Co. Clare, Ireland, we started with shave oils and moisturisers. We manufacture ourselves from the raw ingredients to the finished product from unique formulations developed in house using only considered ingredients that are included for their specific properties giving you a multi-functioning, effective skincare product.

We believe that no matter what your skin type, your desire is for Clean, Clear and Healthy Skin. HarveyJ Skincare achieves this without sacrificing luxury, quality and efficacy and delivers an effective product that kicks ass.

Michele has developed every one of the formulas from a simple idea to the complex but effective formulas we have today drawing on years of study and research into the safety, efficacy and potency of active natural ingredients. We do not outsource our production or use pre-made bases of any kind.

Every product created is hand made with great care, in small batches under strict controls and using safe but potent ingredients that we believe will treat, tone, protect, sooth and renew your skin and to make it the best it can be, clear, clean and healthy, which is what every man wants.

Because our products use naturally derived ingredients, the colour of a key ingredient or oil may vary from one batch to another, we do not use use strong chemical stabilizers so you may find the colour of the product can change from batch to batch however this does not effect the quality, safety or efficacy of the product.

HarveyJ has total control over the research, development and production process from start to finish which ensures high quality and consistency, you get good stuff… every time.

HarveyJ skincare has complete control from conception to the birth of your finished product! Undertaking the research through to the development and lastly the production process from beginning to end, ensures consistent high quality every step of the way. We manufacture in small batches under strict controls so that our products are as fresh as possible when they get to your doorstep.

We don’t use synthetic or artificial colours, perfumes, GMO derived ingredients or ingredients that have been tested on animals and only use trusted suppliers who have the same ethics. Any colour comes directly from the botanicals the products contain. Any scent where it is present comes from pure essential oils chosen not only for their aroma, but for what therapeutic properties they can bring to the formula. All our products have only been tested on humans!

This is really what HarveyJ is all about: using plant oils, botanical and marine actives, plant based peptides, amino acids, natural gelling agents and hypo-allergenic emulsifiers to produce effective skincare without petrochemicals, sulphates, parabens and synthetic or artificial ingredients, colours or perfumes.
