DRINKING WATER DAILY – Essential to Great Skincare

Water is an essential element of a great skincare regime. We all know that drinking enough water is essential to maintain a balance of good health and also that drinking enough water and keeping hydrated can actually enhance the appearance of your skin. The majority of us do not drink enough H20.


Yes, yes I know its a boring topic but drinking enough water really does keep your skin naturally hydrated by creating a reservoir beneath the skin, encouraging the flushing out of and elimination of harmful toxins, and helps give your skin a healthy glow. In addition, water actually helps your skincare products work BETTER by ensuring proper and more even absorption.
If you don’t like drinking water plain consider other sources of beverages and foods that can ensure you’re getting your adequate fill. Watermelon for instance is 91% water, green tea and non-sweetened beverages, such as carbonated lime or lemon fruit waters (non-sweetened), and eating more fruits and vegetables like apples, oranges, grapes, melon and tomatoes, cucumbers… all help achieve proper hydration.
Just take care with  sugary beverages. Too much sugar is doing you no favors and is actually the number 1 enemy for the skin, never mind the waist! But the enemy that is sugar deserves a post all of its own!
