Kukui Nut Oil  (Aleurites Moluccana) Kukui Nut Oil, cold pressed from the nut of Aleurites Moluccana trees is one of the lightest oils, is quickly absorbed into the skin, and is a great penetrator. It helps nourish the skin with healthy essential fatty acids, including linoleic and oleic acid. Kukui nut oil does not dry out skin and does not leave an oily residue behind. The topical use of this oil is said to have been discovered accidentally, as a Hawaiian native was roasting the nuts, and cracked one, to discover that the oil inside was very soothing, to her sunburn, as it absorbed into her skin, and tradition was born.  Now it is, commonly, used to soothe the irritation of radiation burns.
